Please complete this form with the details of the person you would like to put forward as a candidate for the Peter Lamont Spotlighting New Talent Award. This award’s intention is to highlight the future stars of the next generation of film-makers. The list of nominees will be voted on just once by the membership and the resulting three finalists for this award will then be asked separately to send in a selection of specific work, and this will be judged by the committee rather than members.

All candidates should currently be department juniors but do not have to be a BFDG member.

It is possible to submit more than one candidate by completing separate forms for each one.

Entries will close at 5pm on the 8th October 2025.

Final judging for this award will be made by the BFDG committee and a representative from CrewHQ.
